More Wild Puppies!

As part of a new expansion of the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park, Cape Hunting Dogs may finally be represented in North County.  Cape Hunting Dog is one of the various names for Lycaon pictus, also known as the African Wild or Painted Dogs, and cousins to the Pongo.

Diego, in his official role as the Pongo Lama, current incarnation of the spirit of the Pongo, is wagging his tail in approval.

The N. County Wild Dogs aren’t going to form a support group are they? Please make sure Diego stays far away from them….

I suppose it would be nice if they got together and formed a group, but then they wouldn’t be ‘wild dogs’, now would they?

And while Diego loves to play with every living creature, I think he too closely resembles a plushie (and a squeaky one at that) to let him run with the wild dogs.

  3. Diego says:

The conspiracy starts now….. and I know where you two sleep!
