Woof Woof Woof
Yep, I’m still here. Spent a lot of time the last month taking care of the big guy, so no posts, but I’m still here. I make Chuck move around the apartment (it’s good for the circulation) and get outside every now and then. I also rearrange the laundry into decorative piles and apply curative licks as needed. Western medical research has sadly neglected the importance of puppy licks in beating radiation side effects, but the ancient witch doctor in my native Togo taught me well.
Chuck’s basically been getting through the radiation by adopting my lifestyle choice. Sprint and rest, sprint and rest. [Insert licking self as needed.] I never understood this whole thing about running around most of the day and only having one or two sleep periods each day. I think after eight plus years of this I might have finally converted Chuck. The new schedule? Take me for my walk, chill. Swim, take a nap. Work a bit, take another nap. Some days he still tries to live the old lifestyle (assisted by a return to his caffeine dependency), but other days he sees the light and realizes the wisdom of the Pongo Way™. He also breaks that eight hour sleep pattern by getting up once or twice each night to go reading in the little room.
Yep, the Pongo Way™. I see an infomercial coming.
