Rescuing Has It’s Rewards

Diego Celebrating four years with Diego today. ┬áThis is the anniversary of the day we brought him home from the San Diego Humane Society’s shelter. ┬áThere may have been a few brief moments when we’ve regretted that decision, but what are a few books, and shoe insoles, and pairs of underwear compared to the love of a good dog?

Obnoxious squeaky toy was fun, but he didn’t last long against Diego. Rope toys seem to have the best survival rates.

  2. Karen says:

Was his name Diego at the shelter? I don’t think I remember him, he was probably too healthy (I worked in medical) and I was mostly at the shelter in Oceanside. Congrats to all of you on your committed relationship!

  3. Chuck says:

Yes, his name’s been Diego since the shelter.
