Rescuing Has It’s Rewards
Celebrating four years with Diego today. This is the anniversary of the day we brought him home from the San Diego Humane Society’s shelter. There may have been a few brief moments when we’ve regretted that decision, but what are a few books, and shoe insoles, and pairs of underwear compared to the love of a good dog?

This is still my favorite:

Obnoxious squeaky toy was fun, but he didn’t last long against Diego. Rope toys seem to have the best survival rates.
Was his name Diego at the shelter? I don’t think I remember him, he was probably too healthy (I worked in medical) and I was mostly at the shelter in Oceanside. Congrats to all of you on your committed relationship!
Yes, his name’s been Diego since the shelter.
