Brutal Winter, SoCal Style

The mood swing is back on the other side of it’s arc this morning, and I am most definitely not upset with another day in the mid 80s during this brutal winter.  Just need to manipulate my schedule a bit so I get to swim at one of the outdoor pools this afternoon.  Can’t let a gift like this go to waste.

that’s just not right….do you know how this post sounds to those of us holed up in DES MOINES IOWA (smile)! i hereby decree, that by my special powers i shalt bring forth a swarm of suntanned locus down upon thee and thous fellow outdoor swimmers. so there.

TJ….quite with the blah blah and get out of the way of my sun….I’m workin’ on the winter tan!

  3. Chuck says:

TJ – bring on your locusts, just make sure they don’t get stuck in the suntan oil. I’d hate to see them suffer.

  4. It is 20 below zero in central Maine where I live, 35 below in northern Maine where I don’t. I refuse to think about the injustice of you swimming outdoors, where I have to put on snowshoes to get to the Y so I can swim indoors. So there.

  5. TJ says:

spinnerdude and chuck, well put! i suppose those of us who made “bad geographical choices” don’t deserve much sympathy (smile). but i’m not calling of the locusts.
