Martians Becoming Endangered
Sure, Shrub and the congresscritters can dig up trillions and trillions of dollars to save big banks, but they let the best pizza restaurant within a reasonable driving distance go under. Short-sighted fools. Killer Pizza From Mars is gone from south Escondido, and will be sorely missed.

I feel your pain. I’m still mourning the loss of my favorite college-years pizza places, Flying Tomato and Adriatico’s… the best pizza place on the planet. It wouldn’t be so bad if I was hours and hours away, but being within driving distance of a fabulous pizza and having it snatched away is just too much.
OMG….the least they could is open the store up and do a fire sale on all the stuff that’s up on the walls. I will miss them too.
Mike obviously is obviously from the Cowtown area, at least during his college years.
I miss Flying Tomato, too, but not a lot. At least Adriatico’s and Catfish Biff’s (We ain’t got no fish!) are still around (with more limited delivery areas).
While the food was quite good, I’m with Randy on the loss of the memorabilia. While it was no ‘Attic of Love,’ they had an amazing collection of Sci Fi paraphernalia going back decades. I hope they at least moved it to one of their three surviving restaurants and didn’t just dump it.
