Diego, meet the blogosphere.
Diego was adopted today from the San Diego Humane Society, and will be splitting his online residences between the Howling Point and Spinnerdude. He weighs 18 pounds and is a mix between a Maltese and godonlyknowswhat, aka, a purebred Mutt (to use the AKC designation).
Diamond offers Diego a warm welcome to the blogosphere and reminds him to make a cameo appearance at Modulator’s Friday Ark. =)

This little ball of fun got into the wrapped Hershey Kisses last night (not an easy task…but he managed). We’ll have to keep an eye out on this one.
alright diego! his attitude comes through in the photos. something of a cross between “me-like-fun” and “pet me damnit”. perhaps diego has some of the spirit of a well remembered african party mutt!
I’m pretty sure that the SD Humane Society gave in-service training to this one on “Successful Eye Contact With Prospective Adopters” and “Take Me, PLEEEEZ!” glances. We were pretty much sunk when we rounded the corner to his SDHS suite/room (nice set up for the pets, btw), although LD warned me ahead of time. It was puppy love at first sight.
Looks very similar to our dog. Have to watch the chocolate though, it makes them super hyper and/or dead and I haven’t figure out which is worse
I’m usually don’t like li’l dogs that much, but he looks like a fun little guy.
