Scary What Makes Me Happy These Days
Spent too much of the day in Nissantruck visiting various local legal landmarks. My gasthirsty truck keeps me on the lookout for bargains, so I was happy when I found gas at $3.09 a gallon at a rundown station near the court house in Chula Vista. Tough to believe I would’ve ever thought $3.09 was a bargain, but I saw prices today as high as $3.79 (for the low grade – I won’t even price the premium nonsense, much less buy it) in some of the better neighborhoods, and it had been a while since I’d paid less than $3.20 or so.
