The Long Weekend
I can understand everyone I try and call being unavailable on the Friday before the long weekend, but where did the court file I tried to review this afternoon take off to? The clerk said it was around there somewhere, but I think it faxed itself to Baja for the weekend. Hopefully it’s back before the next hearing, and not with one of those embarrassing sunburns. Those sunburns that only happen when you’re playing golf on a sick day. I guess the goldbricking file equivalent would be drink circles on the pleadings. As long as there are no lime wedges smooshed between the pages, I guess even court files need some time off.
The file took some time off for rest and refilazation.
