Hot, Hot, Hot

I don’t need to be a record setter, and certainly see no need to in a city breaking weather records. Personally, it’s generally just not good to be around a city setting weather records; extremes in weather, even in San Diego, just aren’t good.

I stayed in the office all day today, basking in the AC and putting off field work. The thermometer in the office car (seen as we were driving to lunch in air conditioned comfort) said the outside sauna was at 103.

I’m home now for a snack and to take care of Pongo’s needs, but casa’s just too hot to deal with right now. I’ll be leaving for a swim at the gym any minute now.
