Catching Up
In our last cliffhanger of an episode, the city was burning and Chuck was gagging from smoke inhalation. We were about to have a practical test to see if the radioactive seeds could provide enough emergency lighting to evacuate a smoke-filled room.
But then, just in the nick of time, the smoke cleared and was replaced by rain. Chuck got really energetic with the work stuff for a few days, then got his butt kicked by the side effects of radiation poisoning therapy and had to chill for a couple of days. Thus the lack of posts.
Butt is still feeling a bit kicked, but a promise to get a friend to the airport for a 7:00 flight this morning got me out of bed and out-and-about way early.
No halloween costume pictures for y’all this year. I was indisposed and never got around to it. But then again, absolutely no trick-or-treaters came by to offer themselves as human sacrifices for the Pongo this year either. I guess all those little Milky Way bars are mine now.

Oh, honey. I am so thankful that you are all right. If you need a breath of fresh air while the city tries its best to dispose of all the ash and fumes, you can always head north. We’ll even get a bed and everything for Pongo.
“Bed for Pongo”
Sounds like either a 1930′s screwball comedy or possibly a late 50′s Disney live action flick!
