My 39th has started off with congratulatory puppy licks, an e-card, two phone calls and a nice relaxing swim. Also on the agenda: lunch with the parents in a couple hours and refreshments, treats and hopefully some beads with good friends this evening.

Many thanks also to all of you who are celebrating my birthday in other cities thoughout the world. Still curious why so many insist on calling it Fat Tuesday; it’s Chuck Tuesday.
