Litigation and Life
Monday I’m reviewing my weekly schedule from under the Theraflu haze and wondering how I’m going to get through the week. By Wednesday opposing parties have pretty much pulled everything off calendar and I’m back to my transactional work and waiting for other people to get their acts together organized.
People sometimes ask me why I limit the litigation end of my practice. Sorry, but its just too unstable for a solo with no support staff. Too many variables to predict workload and those corresponding billables. Transactions, drafting, advice and counsel might be a tad boring at times, but they generally let me have a life.
As a reminder, the non-attorney part of me is still competing of at Blogwhore. With 5 of the original 12 contenders gone the game’s getting downright interesting. Head over now and witness the mayhem for yourself.
