Happy Monday y’all!

It was a good weekend. The weather was beautiful, the pool was heated, the surf was good (OK, that was Friday, but I’m using a liberal definition of weekend) and I actually got out of the apartment for a while. Yep – made efforts at having a social life. A rarity but it does happen.

I also did some client work and a lot of unbillable work and finally got the php version of the office site up. The new logo doesn’t make me gag and the code seems to be much more consistent on all the platforms/browsers I’ve been able to test it on. Overall, I’m willing to say it’s an improvement and when things get quiet again I’ll take another stab at the logo graphic.

But there are other things to do first. Top of the pile is getting ready for Blogwhore 2: Revenge of the Blogwhore. Gotta get ready. Gotta stretch out the fingers so I can blog the bestest, fastest, wittiest repartees possible. Gotta get my DSL installation up and running so I can blog 24/7. (Yes, as I type a man in brown shorts and a brown shirt driving a brown truck is bringing my new modem all the way from Florida.) Gotta swim more laps in case a speedo shot on the new webcam will persuade one or more of the judges of my devotion to all things orange. In short, just like in law I’ve gotta be ready to zealously advocate, but unlike in law, with none of those little ethics rules slowing things down. And I will be ready. All hail his most imperious orangeness.
