Laws of Physics Prevail
Normally my comments on the laws of physics run like along this line:
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the laws of [insert city or country of the day here] say you have the right of way, but the laws of physics say my truck will still crush your scooter/carriage/bicycle. Gedoutadaway!
Today they center on actual physics (more or less). There can be no perpetual motion. Things decay. Energy burns off. I think its one or more of the laws of thermodynamics and the word entropy comes to mind. No, I don’t have a cite for that. I haven’t had a physics course since Physics 10 (Physics for Poets) at Cal in the early 1980s, so don’t bother me on the technical details, and if a friend-of-the-blog wants to extend, revise, clarify and correct this testimony, please do so in the comments section.
But the point is, the bouncing is slowing down. Interacting with certain people is still draining me, but there are a few good souls who’ve come out of the woodwork to balance the equation. Today is going well. If things keep spinning down, maybe I can repair the holes in the walls and clean Casa by the weekend.

That’s the 2 Law of Thermodynamics: Entropy increases in a closed system.
