Wow. Full-time career-track employment with benefits. You don’t hear that phrase around much any more, especially out here in California. Yet, despite the odds and the formidable obstables, perseverance has paid off for a fellow Vandal, a damn fine lawyer who was my co-counsel when we were doing public defender work on the Nez Perce rez in Idaho. He’s migrating to the Big Easy to work for Uncle. The guy’s so good he’s managed to nail his first promotion before he’s even shown up to start training. Congratulations__________!
