This website used to have a section on why I don’t think movies need big budgets and big stars to be good. It dropped a few revisions ago, but its still an important belief. Now I see this travesty of a sell out. Is having an over-the-hill boy band play jedi going to push the opening weekend box office grossup any higher? There’s no way there will a vacant seat in any theater where it’s playing, with or without this cameo.
On a related note, I saw this link at Doctor Grosz’ site a few days ago. I like it even more today.
